NATIVE AMERICAN FLUES José handcrafts all of his own flutes in between his travels to various street festivals, where he performs, demonstrates and sells the flutes personally. He also sells them online and by special order. He carves his Native American style flutes from fine quality hardwoods such as African bubinga and Macasari ebony, and softwoods flutes in cedar. They are made from one solid piece of wood, each one fine-tuned in the minor pentatonic scale. Each individual flute is tuned to a different key. The larger the flute, the deeper the pitch. He also has miniature flutes available in the keys of A and G, which are excellent for beginners and are very convenient for their portability. Each flute is polished with a non-toxic hardening oil and José's handcrafted leather cases are available for each size flute. Every flute that José sells is a flute that has been made directly from José's heart and tuned ever so carefully according to the highest standards of quality and excellence. If José crafts a mediocre flute, he will not release it to the public, as each flute is a reflection of his extraordinary artistry and skill.
